I have been working in a traditional Taiwanese company for over a decade. While it has provided stability, this job has recently taken a severe toll on my mental health. Realizing that my current lifestyle was no longer sustainable, I knew I had to make a change and began wondering how my life could be different.

This desperation led me to seek answers, and I found inspiration in the book How Much Is Enough?

Following the book’s guidance, I started creating my own “dream list “to may out a grand blueprint fo my future. The ultimate goal was simple: figure out what kind of life I truly want and calculate exactly how much I need to earn to sustain it.

As I defined my vision, I hade a comforting realization- my dream are actualIy quite modest, and I don’t have excessive desires. Unlike those who yearn tot traval the world or own a mansion, my ideal life is much closer to earth. I simply want a house with a yard, where I can have plenty of time to meditate, embrace the silence, go biking, and take one meaningful trip a year. More than nothing, I just want the luxury of free time to do absolutely nothing.

Moving forward , My biggest challenge is transitioning away from the job that drains me . If I must work, I want to pivot toward meaningful work that genuinely helps others while bringing me fulfillment. Refining this financial freedom plan is my first real toward breaking free and reclaiming my peace of mind.
